Saturday in-person hours! Starting July 30th, we will open our Main Branch on Saturday’s from 9:00am – 5:00pm (along with our usual 8:30am - 6:00pm Monday through Friday hours and 8:30am - 4:30pm at Torrance Branch)! We hope you have a chance to visit our satellite locations across all parts of Los Angeles County, from Lancaster to Long Beach. At these locations you’ll find many of the same resources and services at the Main Library, but closer to your home or office. Resources and services may vary by location.
Many of these locations offer free public computers with access to legal research databases and staff available to assist you. Some locations are open on weekday evenings and Sundays.

2 - Compton Library
LA Law Library provides access to Westlaw, CEB OnLaw, Hein Online, Legal Information Reference Center, LegalTrac and Lexis Advance free of charge, in partnership with the County of Los Angeles Public Library system, at the Compton Library.
Compton also has its own collection of law books which may be useful in legal research.

Norwalk Courthouse houses an eBranch self-service kiosk for litigants, visitors and legal professionals to access LA Law Library subscriptions and other helpful tools so they can get a head start on researching legal issues, fill out their own court forms, or learn about court procedures.
Databases available:
Lexis Advance, WestlawNext, CEB OnLaw, EBSCO Legal Information Reference Center (Nolo Press books), HeinOnline, LegalTrac. Electronic copies of sample pleading paper also available.
Access is free. Users can email documents to themselves or download onto flash drive.
