ON DEMAND: Remedies for Children in Immigration Proceedings

This training will explore common issues that arise when working with Unaccompanied Children and legal remedies available to them in immigration proceedings. This training will cover the definition of Unaccompanied Children, advice for working with children and trauma survivors, and cultural competency. The training will provide a brief introduction to common forms of relief for Unaccompanied Children, including Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Asylum, U-Visas, T-Visas, and Prosecutorial Discretion.
