This class will be hosted on ZOOM
---ZOOM INFORMATION WILL BE EMAILED TO REGISTRANTS PRIOR TO CLASS START TIME---
This class will focus on helping you identify warning signs and overwhelming or prolonged stress factors that can put your mental health at risk. Long term stress increases the risk of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use, sleep problems, and pain and bodily complaints such as muscle tension. Learning to determine how you respond to stress can aid you in locating the best resources to help you cope and mitigate the impacts before it turns into long term stress.
Class Covers:
- Identifying stressors and early signs of stress that affect your mental health
- Learning how unidentified and prolonged stress can contribute to long term health issues
- Understanding how legal challenges contribute to stress
- Helping people learn the resources available to help cope with stress
Although you can listen to the class from various kinds of devices, you will need video to view the speaker(s) and any presentation materials and the ability to type on your device and use Zoom to ask questions or use the chat features.
