As part of the LA Law Library’s MCLE lunch hour speaker series, this class will teach you how to use OnLAW, CEB’s online legal research database of California practice guides. Learn how to find the expert step-by-step guidance, legal analysis, and forms that you need to practice. CEB (Continuing Education of the Bar) publications cover California Business, Litigation, Employment, Criminal, Family, Estate Planning and Real Property law.
Class Covers:
- How to browse and search publications by topic, statute, or case
- How to find and download forms
- Legal research examples from recently updated and new titles, including Domestic Partnerships and Same-Sex Marriage, California Tort Forms for Expert Litigators, and California Criminal Defense of Immigrants

Sarah Joshi is an attorney and CEB’s Account Manager for Los Angeles County. She is a graduate of Cornell University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.
