Divorce / Paternity Default Workshop (Torrance)
Friday, December 8, 2017: 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
This class is intended for people who are representing themselves in court in a divorce and/or paternity case, have served the petition on the other party, and the other party has not filed an answer to the petition within 30 days of being served.
This class will give step-by-step instructions on how to fill out two specific forms used in family law cases:
- Request to Enter Default: Paternity (FL-165)
- Request to Enter Default: Declaration of Disclosure and Income and Expense Declaration (FL-141)
Participants will leave the class with the Request(s) to Default filled out and copied.
Bring the following to class:
- Filed petition
- Filed proof of service
- Two envelopes
- Two U.S. stamps with sufficient first-class postage
Class taught in English and Spanish.
Attendees must sign up for the workshop no later than the morning of the day of the workshop.
